Our Day Out
Presented by Stella Maris Secondary School, Tramore
Our Day Out by Willy Russell
From the writer of the sensational Blood Brothers and Shirley Valentine comes another funny and moving play by Willy Russell. Produced by Stella Maris Secondary School in Tramore who have previously had great success with Fame and Little Shop of Horrors, this play centres on a school trip to Dunhill Castle. Mrs Kay and Mr Briggs are the principal characters in the play, two teachers who have their work cut out for them trying to control an unruly class of disadvantaged and illiterate children from Waterford. During this trip, all sorts of trouble and mayhem ensue. The humour is prevalent throughout the play and you can be guaranteed that the characters will take you on a hilarious yet very touching journey that you will most definitely never forget.

"Salsa is the rhythm that takes you with it!"
Salsa is upbeat and energetic, the kind of rhythm that just invites you to dance.
It's no wonder then that it originated as a popular social dance in the Caribbean (Cuba) from where it spread to North America, and more recently to countries worldwide.
Salsa parties unite those people, both from here and around the world who like, enjoy or happen to be passionate about salsa. The atmosphere is lively - the music makes sure of that - but also relaxed and friendly.

Yoga
In today's society, mind, body and spiritual exercise is becoming increasingly popular. The Dungarvan area of Waterford offers all of this and more. Yoga is one such exercise which offers many advantages to young and old. It allows you to tone and detoxify your body, gives flexibility and strength, improves your posture and breathing and teaches you how to destress and meditate.
Mary Hayes has been teaching yoga in the Dungarvan area for the past four years. The form that Mary teaches is Iyengar Yoga. In Iyengar yoga we focus on asanas (postures). Correct body alignment allows the body to develop harmoniously so that the student suffers no injury or pain when practising correctly.
Mary has qualified with the Marie Quail Yoga Therapy and Training Center and specialised in Yoga for Pregnancy with Birthlight. Birthlight is an educational charity that promotes an integrated holistic approach to pregnancy, birth and babyhood.
A variety of classes are held by Mary. Our range of classes include: Beginners Yoga, Intermediate Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Post natal Yoga.
