Written and performed by Macdara Vallely, Peacefire takes place against
the background of the Northern Ireland peace process. It is a horrifically
funny account of one teenager¹s personal experience of crime
and punishment on his local housing estate and his struggle to survive

of the daring rescue attempt of six Fenian prisoners in 1875, Catalpa

The Cambria
Written & performed by Donal O¹Kelly. In April 1845, the
paddle-steamer Cambria left Boston for Cork with Frederick Douglass,
an escaped slave, writer & future American statesman, on board.
He had just published his life story, and it had become a best seller,
forcing him to flee with a price on his head. He sought asylum in
Ireland. After a most eventful crossing, Douglass spoke on Monster
Meeting platforms with Daniel O¹Connell, and was given a civic
reception in the Mansion House Dublin. 2pm & 8pm, tickets: f12.50

Wilde at Heart
This dramatic look at the life, loves and above all, the works of
