
Troubleshooting - Sony Ericsson Phone on O2
I ordered the application, but I didn't receive a link
Occasionally, messages are not delivered because your phone is not set up to accept them. This can be changed using the following menus:
Menu > Messaging > Settings > Push >
Change 'Allow Push Msg' to 'Always'
If you're still having trouble getting the link, just text MOVIES to 57252 again. On rare occasions, the message may not be delivered. You will not be double-charged.
I downloaded the application, but I can't find it on my phone
The application will usually be stored under one of the following menus:
Menu > Organizer > Applications
Menu > Entertainment > Games
I downloaded the application, but it won't connect to the Internet
In order for your phone to connect to the internet, it has to use a thing called an 'access point'. Some Sony Ericsson phones require you to use your operator's 'internet' access point to access the web instead of the WAP access point that you use for your normal mobile browsing. Because of this, the Whazon Cinema Guide may not be able to connect without some small configuration changes to your phone.
Changing the configuration on your phone:
Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Data Communication > Data Accounts > New Account > PS Data
Name: O2 Data
APN:internet
Username: <blank>
Password: <blank>
Settings -> Connectivity-> Internet Settings -> Internet Profiles -> New Profile
Name: O2 Data
Connect using: O2 Data
Settings -> Connectivity-> Internet Settings -> Settings For Java
Select 'O2 Data'
