Troubleshooting - Motorola Phone on Vodafone
I ordered the application, but I didn't receive a link
On some phones, the 'WAP Push' link that we send is not stored in your ordinary text inbox. Instead, it is delivered to a separate inbox called the 'Browser Inbox'. Please check this inbox for the message.
Menu > Messages > Browser Msgs
Occasionally, messages are not delivered because your phone is not set up to accept them. This can be changed using the following menus:
Menu > Messages > Browser Msgs > Menu > Browser Msg Setup
Change Service to 'Receive All'
If you're still having trouble getting the link, just text MOVIES to 57252 again. On rare occasions, the message may not be delivered. You will not be double-charged.
I downloaded the application, but I can't find it on my phone
The application will usually be stored under the following menu:
Menu > Games
I downloaded the application, but it won't connect to the Internet
In order for your phone to connect to the internet, it has to use a thing called an 'access point'. Some Motorola phones require you to use your operator's 'internet' access point to access the web instead of the WAP access point that you use for your normal mobile browsing. Because of this, the Whazon Cinema Guide may not be able to connect without some small configuration changes to your phone.
Changing the configuration on your phone:
Menu -> Web Access -> Web Sessions
Press Menu Button and select 'New'
Leave the default settings as they are, except for the following:
Name: Vodafone ISP
Homepage: http://live.vodafone.com
GPRS APN: isp.vodafone.ie
Username: vodafone
Password: vodafone
Press 'Done'
Press Menu Button and select 'Set Default'
