Morning Class At Daghdha

MORNING CLASS runs every week from Tuesday to Friday 10.00am -11.30am at Daghdha Space and all professional dancers are welcome to attend free of charge!

The class is rooted in the release technique practice allowing for general development, clear references are made to traditional contemporary styles and The classes also focuses on the use of body learning approaches found in the Alexander technique. Kineseology as well as performance information are integrated into the dance practice. Occasionally guest teachers will give classes in different styles.

Janyce Michellod will be giving MORNING CLASS December 11-15 as a guest teacher. We are very excited to invite back this Daghdha Mentoring Programme alumnus to teach and hope you all can attend.

Janyce Michellod is concerned with guiding dancers towards a greater awareness of their back as a means to expand one's dynamic qualities. She offers tools that help the dancer expand his physical possibilities , and work on his control, allowing his body greater freedom of movement.

Coming up in January and February we hope to have some more guest teachers including, Nina Wollny of anoukvandijk dance company in Amsterdam from February 19-22, among others.
