DESIGNING IRELAND
A retrospective exhibition of Kilkenny Design Workshops 1963 - 1988.
KDW undertook design work in ceramics, textiles, graphics, craft
based industries and industrial design. The aim of this exhibition
is
to show the range of designs produced by the Workshops in the twenty
five years of their existence. Mon - Sat 10am - 6pm, Sun 11am - 6pm.

New Drawings & Prints
Kate Buckley lives and works in West Kerry. She has recently returned
from a residency on the Lofoten Islands, just inside the Artic Circle
in Northern Norway, where the traditional fishing boats, sails,
knotted ropes and hanging nets inspired this exhibition. Mon-Fri,

Fall and Recover
Fall and Recover is an exciting and moving work created by John Scott
and members of IMDT in collaboration with survivors of torture
receiving care from the Centre for Care for Survivors of Torture.
Coming from ten countries, Scott focussed on exploring and
highlighting their extraordinary presence and their dignity and
determination. They have lost home, career, family and health but
their dance celebrates the power of the human spirit and carries
imprints from their lives, their loss and their future hopes. 8pm,
