Crucifixions
A Butler Gallery project featuring work by Hughie O’Donoghue. ‘Blue Crucifixion’ will be installed in Duiske Abbey specifically for the Easter
period as part the celebrations of the Abbey’s 800 year history. Simultaneously, ‘Red Crucifixion’ will be installed at Callan Friary to mark

‘Travelogue’ is a group exhibition of winners of the Tony O’Malley Travel Award over the past 6 years. It was established to honour the late Tony

A series of paintings that deal with number, colour and figure/frame relationships. Each piece is broken into segments and bands. The number of
segments and bands is dictated by a mathematical model. The mathematical model also dictates the number of colours to be used and the colour
placement. The overall shape of the work is also governed by mathematical rules. Watergate Theatre.

Postcard exhibition
An exciting opportunity whereby people in the community were invited to create postcards using any medium, any theme. The exhibition will be
displayed in the link corridor of the County Hall. All postcards will be sold for a minimum of €2 each. The works will be sold as anonymous pieces.
The money collected will go towards the launch of CHILDRENS ART DAY for Kilkenny City and County. The County Hall is open to the public Mon - Fri 9am to 1pm & 2pm to 5pm.
