Airport
Cork Airport is located approximately 4 miles (6 kms) south of Cork City.
There are direct year round services to and from many destinations in UK and
Europe. Regular internal flights to Dublin and Shannon connect with flights to the USA and other worldwide destinations.
Ferry
Ringaskiddy is the Ferryport for Cork. It is located 10 miles (16 kms) from Cork city.

Railways
You can travel from one end of Ireland to the next on the rail service. Kent station in Cork is ideally located in the centre of the city. Use our map to see where the train station is located in Cork. Irish Rail provide a great service to all its customers.
Bus
Bus Eireann provide the State bus service in Ireland. The main Bus Terminal is located right in the heart of the city. Use our map to see where the bus station is located in Cork. Bus services can get you to all major locations in Ireland.
Local bus services are also available, these bus times can be obtained from the bus information office on Patricks Steet (outside pennys).
County Hall & Black Ash Park & Ride
Save money on parking you car while easing city centre congestion. Park your car and a bus will bring you to the city centre. Cost €5. Open Monday - Saturday 7.30 - 19.30. Buses every 10 mins (peak) every 15 mins (off peak).
Taxis
Taxis and Hackney Cabs are available in Cork. Taxis can be hailed down in the street however hackney cabs must be booked from offices. Costs are measured by distance. Taxis have a metre. If you have to be somewhere at a particular time, it is wise to book in advance as offices can be quite busy.
