An installation by artist Danielle Sheehy. In this exhibition, the artist looks at the patterns we create and through which we move in the landscape. She also reveals the lost waterway movements underlying the contemporary fabric of Cork City. Exhibition runs in the project room (ground floor). Crawford Municipal Art Gallery.

An exhibition of photography by AIB prizewinner 2003 Dara McGrath. The exhibition depicts the changing landscape of Ireland's national road network. Drawing on landscape painting tradition, his compositions are poetic, witty and pragmatic. Exhibition runs in the second floor galleries. Crawford Municipal Art Gallery.

Stephen Gunning
Stephen Gunning¹s work revolves around social issues and the individual¹s relationship with society. He investigates how we inhabit urban situations and the relationship between the public and social confrontation. Working extensively in video, Gunning has exhibited widely internationally. Vii Manifestations: Passing
Originally from Peru, South America, Isabela Basombrio-Hoban is now living and working in Ireland. Her mixed-media installations are evocative of reliquaries, treasures and private places of adornment. The work is reminiscent of Œlow-tech¹ experimental scientific object making with undercurrent themes of birth, death and re-birth. Artist¹s Talk: Friday 13 February, 1.30pm. Admission Free. The Lios
The Lios is a new installation work by innovative Cork-based company half/angel. The Lios is thematically focused on the lios at Warren Beach, near Ballymacoda in East Cork, and the surrounding area. Through a combination of audio walks, and interviews with young and elderly local residents, the work builds up layers of memory and time. Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Emmet Place.

The show will consist of a selection of carborundum prints and etchings by Tony and Jane O¹Malley. This exciting work, previously unseen in Cork, extends the diversity of materials used by both artists and shows the ease in which they move between mediums, from painting to printmaking. Cinderella
Presented by The Lambert Puppet Theatre. This year the Lamberts will present their newest journey into the magical world of fairy tale and adventure with a new show - Cinderella. An original drama adapted by the Irish Drama society of U.C.C. It is said in old fisherman¹s tales that when a man is lost at sea, his soul returns to shore until he has been mourned and his wake is over. Páidí Ó Dálaigh takes this notion and brings us on a journey with four young men whose friendship penetrates the boundary between worlds and leaves them peering through the looking glass struggling to find their resting place. 8pm, tickets: f6/4. 15th Cork French Film Festival
Presented by Triskel & Alliance Francaise de Cork. Kicking off this years festival is Tais Toi!, a premiere screening in Cork of the 2003 French box-office hit starring the iconic duo of Gerard Depardieu and Jean Reno. This 15th festival is bigger than previous years and will include general screenings, family screenings, a ŒFrench Cinema Classics Weekend¹, an education programme and a cinematic celebration of World Francophone Day on Saturday 20 March.
