Corcadorca, famed for staging spectacular theatre in unusual locations, this year turns its attention to another great classic, but with a twist. medEia, written in 1998 by Oscar van Woensel is a modern and unconventional retelling of the Greek tragedy of Medea. The poetic language of the text is interlaced with images and the pop lyrics of groups such as The Beatles, Joy Division and Madonna.
