This innovative and unique multimedia art installation involves
renowned artists from around the world in an exploration of the
history and culture of the docklands of the famous Port of Cork and
the men who worked there. The project is based around the historic

El Lamento de Los Muros
‘The Wailing of the Walls’. Photographic series by the Argentinian
artist, Paula Luttringer, shown for the first time in Ireland,
reflecting on her experience and that of thousands of other women who
were held in secret prisons across Argentina in the late 70’s and

Every Time I See The Sea…
Life After Tsunami.The exhibition weaves together amazing and moving
takes of survival. It will take visitors back to the moment the
tsunami struck the countries of the Indian Ocean, killing up to
250,000 people in just hours. Through emotionally powerful
photographs, video, sculpture and words, it tells the story of how

A true tale of Love in Tonga
A retrospective exhibition of Cork-born Robert Gibbings (1889-1958)
of over 100 prints and drawings from both private and public
collections, to provide an overview of his development as an artist
and wood-engraver, particular in the field of book engraving.

The Exit Wound
Written and directed by Meridian Theatre’s Artistic Director, Johnny
Hanrahan. The Exit Wound is a promenade play in three parts: each in
a different space, in Triskel Arts Centre, Cork. The three, intense,
central stories are supported by a chorus of performers in their 60’s
and 70’s and a subtle soundscore which blends material from Kennedy’s
speeches and the reports of his assassination with music of the era,
which has significance for the characters, as real and as compelling

they themselves become embroiled in the world of the play? Dogg’s
Hamlet invites you into the Dogg speaking world of three young
schoolboys. We watch as they grapple with Shakespeare’s masterpiece
